Q:3 Water not hot enough.

Turn off the heater and check the selector screw's position, to see if it's set on LO or HI. Remove front cover and see if it's set to LO. If yes, then loosen the selector screw and change it to HI. Re-tighten the selector screw and you're done!

You can also lower the flow rate at the sink to increase water temperature or adjust the outlet service valve till the water reaches the required temperature. Remember to check the possible temperature rise in every model and flow rate, by consulting our Specifications.

For Models AE7.2 / AE9.5, two venturis have been provided for activating the heater when water is turned on. A 3/4 gpm minimum flow rate venturi (activator) is included in these listed units. An alternate 1/2 gpm is also present for the bottom of spring, and can be swapped to keep the heater activated with a lower flow rate. Remember to switch selector screw as well. Also, the AE3.4 Model only has a 1/2 gpm venturi and you can remove the drain plug to get access.
