Q.7 Water Is Not Hot Enough?

• The current thermostatic setting in the heater will average around 140 F. The thermostat in the 125BS is unadjustable with an exterior control. Within the heater there is an adjustable collar with lock nut.
• Flow at tap is very high, lower flow to be there within heater's specifications.
• Gas pressure is very low, due to undersized or constricted gas line. Hence, inspect the gas line size in the specification table to ensure it is adequate. Check gas pressure at inlet tap on unit.
• When the heat exchanger gets old and loaded with mineral water then it may be scaled internally. This averts efficient heat transfer.
